Cause of House Fire to Remain a Mystery

The destruction from a recent house fire is so complete that the true cause of the blaze may never be known.

The destruction from a house fire at 10 LaCouture Ct. is so complete that the cause of the blaze may never be known, according to the State Fire Marshal's Office.

It is undetermined after investigation and will remain that way unless some new information should surface," said Jennifer Mieth, a spokesperson for the Fire Marshal, of the fire that displaced at least three residents after tearing through the second floor. "The destruction was so extensive, that a final cause can't be conclusively determined."

The fire tore through the home shortly after 5 a.m. on Nov. 8 leaving extensive damage to the second floor. No one was injured in the fire, although one woman was transported to the hospital as a precaution due to smoke inhalation.
