Multiple sources are reporting a man showed a gun at the Pro Tech Gas Station at 206 Salem St. and reportedly fled toward Clark St.

An armed robbery was reported to police just after 7 p.m. Monday night at the Salem St. Pro Tech Gas station, according to scanner transmissions.

The suspect was described as a black male, 30-35 years of age, 5'8", with a stocky build, wearing dark sunglasses, a black jacket and a black hat. He also reportedly sported a light goatee.

The reporting party said the man brandished a black gun and reportedly fled on foot down Salem St. toward Clark St.

Anyone with information about the suspect should call 911.

The above is not official information from the Malden Police Department and has been obtained through public police scanner transmissions.

More official information to come as it becomes available.

Neither do I Frank. I have no idea how I turned into this 'lowlife' according to Mr. Twelve Step. I guess being a member of A.A. has a prerequisite of being angry. But I'll be sure and tell my girlfriend to 'just pull the plug' on herself, so that Stalin can solve his tax dollar dilemma. Where do these people come from?

I'd don't mean to be a prude, but we can probably do without the more elaborate drug references, so I deleted a comment in this thread.

Jazz there are a lot of people who are not terminal that need pain relief. Why is access to medical marijuana - which is infinitely safer and not addictive, especially compared to morphine of all things - bad for your children, but access to all kinds of other more dangerous pharmaceuticals aren't? The system may be abused by some people, but so is the current pharmacy system, isn't it?

@JAZZ by the way, they are not "Your Tax" dollars, they are "our tax" and "their Tax" dollars,. The elderly have already paid into the system and earned their healthcare in their senior years. Unless you are independently wealthy (and you live in Malden?) I believe when you retire, it will be tax dollars paying for your health care..silly head
