Bolton Street Accident Leaves Older Resident in Serious Condition

A 62-year-old Marlborough man suffered serious injury after his car careened into a tree then several parked cars.

A Marlborough man is in serious condition at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester after crashing into several parked vehicles at a Bolton St. residence Monday evening. 

Police have declined to name the 62-year-old resident who was involved in the crash, but said the incident is under investigation.

"For some reason it appears he lost control of his car, hit a tree, and collided with several parked vehicles," said Detective Scott DeCiero. "The Massachusetts State Police Accident Reconstruction Unit is currently trying to determine the cause. We are awaiting their report."

Eyewitnesses to the event said the crash looked to very serious, and after being taken to , the victim was flown to Worcester.
