ARRESTS: Methuen Man Tries to Steal Ted Williams Autographed Baseball

The Marlborough Police Department supplied the following information. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Jose P. Cunha, 35, of Broad Street in Marlborough, was arrested at 12:59 a.m. on May 17, and charged with breaking and entering into a building nighttime for a felony, assault, and malicious destruction of property, less than $250. He was arrested at the White Real Estate Company on Broad Street after police were called there for a report of a disturbance.

Richard Allen Kennedy, 54, of Mill Street Central in Marlborough, was arrested at 3:56 a.m. on May 17, on two true warrants. He was arrested at Ferguson Plumbing and Lighting on Maple Street.

Michael J. Glidden, 45, of Greendale Street in Methuen, was arrested at 10:57 a.m. on May 17, and charged with larceny over $250 and fugitive from justice on a court warrant. According to the Associated Press, Glidden allegedly tried to steal a autographed Ted Williams baseball. He was arrested at the Royal Plaza Trade Center on Boston Post Road West.
