ARRESTS: Man Charged with Attempted Murder

Marcus E. Hannay, 31, of Marlborough, was arrested at 4:34 p.m. on March 3, and charged with stalking, two counts of threatening to commit a crime, two counts of assault, assault and battery, annoying telephone calls, and disorderly conduct. Hannay was arrested on South Street after Police were called to the address to assist a citizen. In November 2008, according to online reports, he was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, vandalizing property and resisting arrest.

James Francis Nelson, 57, of Framingham, was arrested at 7:46 p.m. on March 3, on a warrant. He was arrested at the police department.

Jorge Martinez Jr., 33, of Marlborough, was arrested at 5:49 p.m. on March 5, and charged with attempted murder and assault and battery. He was arrested on Grant Street after police were called there for a disturbance.
