ARRESTS: Hudson Man Faces Numerous Drug Charges

The Marlborough Police Department supplied the following information. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Manuel Luz Moreira Jr., 32, of Sawin Street in Marlborough, was arrested at 9:30 p.m. on June 23, and charged with OUI drugs and marked lanes violation. He was arrested at the intersection of Pleasant and Spring streets after police were tipped off to an erratic operator.

Christopher L. Gopaul, 20, of Broad Street in Hudson, was arrested at 9:55 a.m. on June 24, and charged with larceny from a building, possession of a Class A drug with intent to distribute, possession of a Class A drug, possession of a Class B drug, and possession of a Class C drug. He was arrested at the Quality Inn on Donald Lynch Blvd.

According to the Community Advocate, he was arrested in July 2011 on a warrant and in August 2011 for unlicensed operation of MV and improper operation of MV/objectionable noise from MV.

In August 2012, he was arrested and charged with failing to stop for police, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop or yield, use of a motor vehicle without authority, vandalizing property, carrying a dangerous weapon and breaking and entering in the daytime to commit a felony, according to a post on Patch.

A juvenile, 16, was arrested on assault and batter and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. He was arrested at a vacant residence on Warren Avenue after a report of a domestic disturbance.
