Suspects Still at Large in Honey Farms Robbery

The Marlborough Police Department responded to an armed robbery late Tuesday evening at Honey Farms near the corner of Pleasant and Elm streets.

The responded to the report of an armed robbery at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday evening. The suspects in the robbery, that took place at convenience store, near the corner of Pleasant and Elm streets, are still at large. 

Two men of unknown ethnicity robbed the mart last evening with one suspect brandishing a gun during the incident, said Detective Martha Shea, of the . Scanner traffic  last evening, however, did at one point indicate the suspects were African American.

Shea said the suspects they are looking for were described as being a 5 feet, 7-9 inches tall with a skinny build, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and a beanie hat, while the second man was approximately  5 feet, 5-7 inches in height with a medium build, also wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, a similar hat, and baggy jeans.

"The matter is still under investigation," said Shea, and she asked that any individuals with information that could lead to the suspects to call Lieutenant Robert Jusseaume at 508-624-6955.

The Department declined to comment as to how much was stolen during the robbery.
