April 27: Suspicious Activity Investigated at Airport, Assault Arrests

Here is a sampling of the calls the Marlborough Police Department responded to Wednesday, April 27, 2011. All arrests are reported.

8:54 a.m.: Suspicious activity is investigated by police in the area of Clover Hill and Beach streets. 

11:12 a.m.: A report is filed when police serve a summons at 83 Crosby Rd.

1:24 p.m.: Officers investigate a report of assault at 34 Ringold St.

2:40 p.m.: An act of fraud/forgery is investigated at 196 Union St.

3:49 p.m.: Matthew E. Hernandez, 21, of 3 Richard Rd., is arrested after police respond to a domestic disturbance at 110 Prospect St. He is charged with assault and battery.

4:25 p.m.: A resident of the Stone Gate Apartments, 15 Redbud Way Apt. 31, reports annoying phone calls.

6:23 p.m.: A report of vandalism turns out to be unfounded. 

8:50 p.m.: Services are rendered when the MPD investigate some suspicious activity at Marlborough Airport, 681 Farm Rd.

10:51 p.m.: Police respond to a disturbance in the vicinity of Mechanic and Elm streets, and arrest Jeff S. Marino, 26, of 279 Elm St. Apt. 1, on charges of assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault, and carrying a dangerous weapon.
