5 Things: Veterans Day and Free Public Transportation

1. The aftermath of an accident can mean multiple surgeries and months of recovery. Following the recent accident on Parmenter Street that sent one many to the hispital by helicopter, a family friend has started a fund to help support the family.

4. Taking public transit in the next two days? You can take advantage of the Food for Fare program put on by the MetroWest Regional Transit Authority. Bring a non-perishable canned or boxed food item with a value of $1.00 or more today or tomorrow and ride for free. The food will be donated to the United Way of Tri-County.
