2 Marlborough Men Charged With Kidnapping Framingham Man

Two Marlborough men faced serious charges in Framingham District Court Tuesday, after it was reported they kidnapped a Framingham man over the weekend.

Over the weekend, a Framingham man, told police, two men kidnapped him and drove him around MetroWest and demanded he return thousands of dollars to them.

The Framingham man, whom police did not identify, reported the incident to Framingham Police at 5:23 p.m. Sunday. He told police the two men showed a gun and threatened him, police said.

On Monday, Framingham police arrested Dakota Aube, 21, of 23 Mt. Pleasant St., Apt. C, and Jason Sewell, 25, of 21 Mt. Pleasant St., Apt. C, both of Marlborough, on warrants.

They were charged with kidnapping with a firearm and assault with a deadly weapon, said Framingham Police Lt. Ronald Brandolini.

The two were arraigned in Framingham District Court on Tuesday.

issued a "stop and hold" order to all units on Monday as detectives investigated the case. The order was canceled in the early evening after it was reported that Framingham Police had the men in custody, according to scanner traffic.
