Obituary: Linda Scheffler Jarvis, 62, Fulbright Scholar, Engineering and Software Director
Linda Jarvis, 62, was director of Software and Engineering for IBM in Marlborough.
Linda E. (Scheffler) Jarvis, 62, of Marlborough, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, following a lengthy illness.
Born in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Lockwood) Scheffler and the wife of Raymond Jarvis of Marlborough. Mrs. Jarvis had been employed at Sybase in Concord for many years before becoming Director of Software and Engineering for IBM in Marlborough.
A graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, she continued her education as a Fulbright Scholar at MIT. She was always kind and generous and thinking of those she loved.
