Obits: 'Proud Nana,' Graphic Artist and 'Proudly Polish'

Marlborough — Kelly A. (Padula) Mongeau, 50, of Petersham and formerly of Marlborough, died at home Saturday, April 13, 2013 after a three and a-half-year battle with cancer.

A graduate of Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School, Class of 1981, she utilized her graphic art skills at Concepts Unlimited in Acton and later at Easter Rainbow in Derry, N.H.

Northborough — Sophie M. (Solon) Komanecky, died on April 7, 2013 at Beaumont of Westborough.

Komanecky was proud of her heritage and was fluent in reading and speaking Polish and enjoyed cooking Polish dishes for her family & friends.

Shrewsbury — Sandra A. Bellville, 62, of Shrewsbury formerly of Exeter, NH, and Peabody, MA, died Tuesday April 9, 2013 after a lengthy and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Bellville had a career in export administration and enjoyed crafts and visiting with her grandchildren in her spare time. She was a very proud Nana.

Marlborough — Debra Place, 57, died on Friday, April 12.

Shrewsbury — Richard K. "Rick" Arent of Shrewsbury, died peacefully on Friday, April 12, 2013 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence, Worcester, surrounded by his loving family.
