He was a Massachusetts State Police Officer for 21 years, retiring as a Lieutenant. He was Director of Operations at the Worcester Art Museum and Director of Security at Mechanics Bank before retiring to Florida for 20 years.

ShrewsburyJohn E. Amorello Sr, 89, of Shrewsbury passed peacefully Wednesday April 3, 2013 in the Holy Trinity Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.

GraftonPriscilla (Thompson) Baggesen, 90, died April 1, 2013 from lung disease.

She served on the Northborough Historical Society as Chairperson, was Vice President of the Algonquin Music Parents Association, was an elected member of the Bicentennial Commission in Northboro, a volunteer at the Red Cross Blood Bank and the American Cancer Society as well as the Retired Senior Volunteer Program in Worcester, in addition to volunteering at UMass Memorial and also serving on many committees there.

MarlboroughLorraine H. (McCarthy) Chase, age 83, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 29, 2013 at her home.

She was employed by a food distribution company in Auburn for several years before retiring in 1999.

WestboroughHelen J. (O’Leary) Mogavero, 91 years, in Framingham, formerly of Westborough and Dedham on March 28, 2013.

MarlboroughSister Cecilia Dooley, RGS, 90, of Marlborough died Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Bethany Health Care Center in Framingham after a short illness.

She had been a Contemplative Sister of the Good Shepherd for 70 years. After Vatican II Sister Cecilia was chosen to serve on an international committee whose task was to rewrite the Constitutions for the Contemplative Sisters as they updated their way of life.

GraftonLillian D. (Johnson) O'Leary, 91, died April 1, 2013 following an illness.

Those who knew Lillian will remember her as a devoted mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.

GraftonElinor R. (Gilbertson) Bonin, 88, died March 27, 2013.

After retirement, she volunteered for Meals on Wheels in Grafton. She was a lifelong member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in North Grafton where she sang in the choir for over 70 years.
