McGinley was first employed for the Town of Shrewsbury as a part-time fire fighter from 1954 to 1962 and in 1962 he became a full-time Patrolman in the Police Department. He was promoted to Sergeant in 1974 and in1980 became Chief of the Department.
Westborough — Lois Margaret (Moran) Horgan of Westborough, formerly of Venice, FL and Belmont, MA died peacefully at 83 years of age on May 30, 2013.

A graduate of Waltham High School, she enjoyed dancing, music, the beach, painting, puzzles of all types, the Patriots, and was an accomplished violinist. Marjorie was a lovely, strong woman, who endured the loss of three of her sons.

Natick — Mark A. Young of Natick died on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at the Metro West Medical Center in Framingham. He was 59 years of age.
Young lived all but a few years in Natick and worked as a store manager with Knapp Foods, Inc. of Newton and then with the B & M Tree Service of Ashland for fifteen years and finally in 2006 worked for SV Fay Coppersmiths of Natick.
Marlborough — Patricia A. (Thomas) Peterson, 63, died early Thursday morning after a long period of failing health.
Peterson was employed as a medical assistant for the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Group in Westborough for many years.
Long interested in history and archaeology, she devoted much of her time to the Harvard Semitic Museum, and in 1998 at the age of 72, she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Harvard Extension School, graduating cum laude. In 2002, Phyllis and Albert moved to Sudbury.
Grafton — Ann Shirley (Gallagher) Pantani, 75, died June 2, 2013.
She leaves behind 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Westborough — Elizabeth L. “Betty” Lombardo, 93, of Westborough, died on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at St. Patrick’s Manor in Framingham. She was the wife of the late Santo Joseph Lombardo.
Lombardo was employed as a seamstress at Holbrook Shirts in New Britain and had also worked for Stanley Works.
Natick — Marion F. (Valls) Joslin of Natick died on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at her home. She was 79 years old.
She was a homemaker and a part time waitress who enjoyed shopping, facebook, video games and traveling to Ireland, Las Vegas & Disney. However, her true joy was taking care of her kids. She was a Natick resident since 1959 and a member of St. James Church of Wellesley.
