MarlboroughLili (Huang) Chen, 74, of Marlborough died Monday, May 20, 2013 at home. She leaves her husband of 52 years, Daren Chen.

She graduated from high school in China and later from nursing school. She worked as a nurse while in China and later as a dietary aide at Quincy Rehabilitation & Nursing Center for many years. She loved growing vegetables, sewing, was kind and compassionate, and adored her grandchildren.

WestboroughMary (D’Elia) Silvestry, 86, a longtime Westborough resident, died peacefully on Friday May 17, 2013 at UMass Memorial Medical Center, Memorial Campus with her family at her side.

In her younger years she was a lifeguard at Bell Pond and worked at the Coca Cola plant on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester. She also worked for a short time at Fay Mountain Apple Orchard in Westborough. Mary always believed her real work in life was raising her family.

NorthboroughDaniel F. Staniunas, 58, died May 18, 2013 at home from heart complications.

A machinist, builder and carpenter, Staniunas worked at the MetroWest Daily News in Framingham for the last seven years in the maintenance department. He volunteered for numerous food drives and donated blood for many years through the American Red Cross.

ShrewsburyLuigi Fede, 92, passed away May 9, 2013 after a brief illness.

He was born September 30, 1920 in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, a son of the late Domenico and Giacomina (Martini) Fede. He had been happily retired from the grocery business for the last thirty years. During that time he lived in Cape Cod and also in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

North GraftonDolores C. (Gerbus) Maylott, 80, of Hollywood Drive, died Friday, May 17, 2013, in her home, with her son by her side.

Maylott retired from Mechanics National Bank in Worcester, where she worked for many years. Later, she worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Matthew Panagiotu in Worcester and volunteered at Hahnemann Hospital in Worcester.

NorthboroughCarl Alfred McAffe, Jr., World War II Army Veteran, of Amesbury, formerly of Northborough, died January 11, 2013 in Amesbury.
