WestboroughMarjorie Ruth Candela, 77, died on Sunday, June 2, 2013 after a 5 year battle with Alzheimer’s and Auto Immune Liver Disease.

While living in Westborough, Ruth was a dedicated mother and Athletic Booster.  She was a committed member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church where she enjoyed volunteer outreach.  In 1997, Ruth and Gerry retired to Ashtabula, Ohio where Ruth was a member of the Altar Rosary Society.

ShrewsburyYvonne Samy Abdelmessih, of Shrewsbury, died Monday, June 3, 2013 at home. She was 82.

Born August 5, 1930 in Cairo, Egypt she was a daughter of the late Samy and Mofeda (Abdelkdos) Abdelmessih. Raised and educated in Egypt she immigrated to the United States on 20 August 2012.

MarlboroughAntoinette M. (Strozzi) Salvi 93, of Natick, formerly of Sherborn and Marlborough, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013, following a period of declining health.

Salvi spent most of her working life as a member of the food services industry, first as a waitress and luncheonette manager, and then when she moved to Natick from Boston in 1963, as a long term employee of Stop and Shop Stores in Natick and Framingham.

ShrewsburyBarbara E. Sherman, of Shrewsbury, died Tuesday evening, June 4, 2013 in UMASS Memorial Healthcare. She was 78.

Raised in Milford she lived many years in Leicester and Northborough before settling in Shrewsbury over 30 years ago. She worked many years at the former Muir's Cleaners in Worcester.

GraftonEverett "Pank" F. Goulet, a resident of Cape Cod since 1960, died on Saturday June 1, 2013. He was 91 years old.

He was very proud to have served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WW II. Pank later became a Foreman for Wyman Gordan's Co., retiring in 1981.

ShrewsburyRose A. (Paolilli) Willis, 93, of Shrewsbury, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013 in her home with her loving family at her side.

WestboroughElizabeth L. “Betty” Lombardo, 93, of Westborough, died on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at St. Patrick’s Manor in Framingham.

In 1994 she moved to Westborough where she was a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church, was a member of the Women of St. Luke’s and the Senior Center. She enjoyed playing Bingo at the K of C Hall and making afghans.

GraftonMalvina M. (Gervais) Killoran, 89, died on June 2, 2013 following an illness.

Malvina taught her children a strong work ethic by example, having worked for most of her life. She began her career at Pond Lumber, then spent several years at Worcester Wire before joining the Worcester County National Bank where she would remain for many years.

WestboroughAlba Y. Kalenian, 98, formerly of Westborough, died peacefully on Tuesday, June 4, 2013.
