Hill was passionate about politics. He became actively involved in local politics upon moving to Marlboro in 1964.

WestboroughCarl C. Berquist, 73, of South Yarmouth, formerly of Westborough, died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the Cape Cod Hospital. He was the husband of Nancy E. (Broderick) Berquist.

Carl worked briefly at Bay State Abrasives and then as a lineman for Massachusetts Electric Company.

MarlboroughWilliam T. "Bill" Quinlan, 90, died Thursday, March 7, after a short period of failing health. He was born in Marlborough, the son of the late James T. and Theresa (Curran) Quinlan, and lived there all of his life.

After high school, Quinlan enlisted in the United States Navy and served aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S Croatan during WWII.  For many years he was a self employed painter and wallpaper hanger in the Marlborough area and was a life long member of the Immaculate Conception Parish.

ShrewsburyKaren (Herndon) Miller, of Shrewsbury, died unexpectedly at home on Friday, March 8, 2013. She was 69.

In 1964 she graduated from University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a Bachelor's degree in Education. She was a member of Tri Delta Sorority and toured Europe with the UT singers in 1962.

After staying at home to raise her son and daughter she later taught English literature, History and Social Studies in the 7th and 8th grades at Shrewsbury Middle School for over 15 years, retiring in 2005.

GraftonJanet Nancy (Fine) Letourneau, 68, of Grafton died Saturday, March, 9th, 2013, at home surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Letourneau graduated from Classical High School (Worcester) in 1962; received a Bachelor's Degree from Central New England College in 1985; and retired from U.S. Army Soldier Systems Command in Natick, MA, in 2009.

MarlboroughCherylene J. (Coulter) Jodrey, 67, died unexpectedly Wednesday at her home. She was the wife of the late Lawrence Jodrey who died in 1990.

The greatest joy in her life was her family especially spending time with her grandchildren.

ShrewsburyRuth M. Gill, 95, of Shrewsbury passed away peacefully on Friday, March 8th in Notre Dame Long Term Care Center.

The center of Ruth's life was her strong faith and her family. She took great pride in all the accomplishments of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

WestboroughGeorge J. Neubauer, 85, of Westborough, died unexpectedly on Friday, March 8, 2013 at home. He was the husband of Mary T. (Haggerty) Neubauer.

During WW II he served with the United States Marines.  Neubauer was employed as the manager of the Jet Engine Sales Division at Wyman-Gordon for over 30 years prior to his retirement.

GraftonJennie (Linek) Gwozdowski, 88, a lifelong resident of Grafton, died peacefully Friday March 8, 2013 at The Ichabod Washburn Hospice Residence in Worcester.

During her early years she first worked at Fisher Manufacturing Co. in South Grafton and then at Kartiganer Hat Co. in Upton.

ShrewsburyEvelyn B. (Dunn) Sharp, of Shrewsbury, died Sunday, March 10, 2013 in Oakknoll Healthcare Center in Framingham. She was 88.
