Got Stray Cats? Call CaRMaH! FREE Spay/Neuter for Stray/Feral Cats!

CaRMaH is offering FREE spay/neuter/vaccination services for stray or feral cats in Marlborough and Hudson until May 31st!

OK, you've seen them as you walk or drive through the town, often as a streak across a street, or watching you warily from behind a restaurant.   Community cats - the feral (untamed) cats that are part of our cities and towns.  You many not think twice about them but there are hundreds just in Marlborough and Hudson!

CaRMaH (the Cat Rescue of Marlborough and Hudson) has a challenge for you - become a community cat spotter!  We are offering FREE spay/neuter/vaccines for stray/feral community cats until May 31st!  We will come trap the cats, bring them to one of our veterinary partners, they will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated for rabies, and have their ear 'tipped' - 1/4" of their left ear tip will be clipped, as the universal sign of a sterilized cat.  Then, the cat will be returned to their original territory. This is called TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return).

CaRMaH has provided TNR services to more than 300 cats in the last 5 years alone.  These cats live longer, healthier lives, and because they are no longer breeding, it's easy to catch the few newcomers in an area, and get them TNRd too.  The number of cats in an area naturally goes down, because as cats die, they aren't replaced by new kittens.
