Where Can You Volunteer in Marlborough for Thanksgiving?

Marlborough will have a need for volunteers this season.

On Tuesday, Marlborough volunteers will distribute turkeys at the Boys and Girls Club gymnasium. Call the Marlborough Community Cupboard to let them know if you'd like to help.

The contact is 508-481-4080.

The Cupboard, located in the Walker building, 255 Main St., Marlborough, also is in regular need of volunteers. It is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. Call ahead to ask them when to volunteer. 508-481-4080.

And through Hope for the Holidays, the United Way of Tri-Counties will distribute gifts to parents for their children. The United Way will need volunteers, starting immediately, who can sort through and pack gifts. More than 1,000 children will receive Christmas gifts through this program, three each. So volunteers are needed.
