Thanksgiving Turkey Distribution through United Way of Tri-County

Families that pre-registered will pick up their holiday meals on Tuesday in Marlborough.

Several hundred families in Marlborough will receive a turkey and groceries to complete their Thanksgiving holiday meals, thanks to contributions to the United Way of Tri-County and the Marlborough Community Cupboard.

The distribution will be from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, at the Metro West Boys and Girls Club gym, for pantry clients who have registered in advance.

"Local businesses and individuals donated to the United Way of Tri-County Feed-A-Family program to provide a holiday meal for those in need," wrote Sandy Baldi, an administrative assistant for the United Way of Tri-County. "We are accepting contributions throughout the holiday season and beyond as we are always helping to provide food to those in need. For every $1 donated the UWOTC is able to purchase $4 of food."
