Car thefts in Marlboro

I just wanted to let everyone know what happened at my house last night!  I live on Franklin Street (between Elm & Chestnut) and my poor husband was up at 3am with a migraine.  When it went away, he went out onto our 2nd floor porch to smoke a cigarette before he went back to bed.  Mind you, it was POURING!!  He saw a girl in a dark colored hoodie with a flashlight come out from out driveway, onto the street & open the car door to our downstairs neighbor's car, which was parked out front.  He noticed she had a flashlight.  He then asked her what she was doing and she took off towards Elm Street.  he cam in and called the police, and they were here withing minutes.  In that time, he went outside & checked the back yard & the interior lights were still on in his van.  The police officer called for backup in the area, and headed off to look for the girl while my husband checked our cars.  He had some stuff (company credit card etc.) in his vehicle, but all that was taken was a small stack of used up DD cards, his AAA card & his Dick's sporting goods loyalty card (maybe she thought it was a gift card?)  SHe had also gone through my car, as the glove box was still open.  She would have gotten my Ipod touch, had I not brought it in 2 days a go to charge!!  

I'm writing this to put people on notice.. LOCK YOUR CARS!!

 The police had an idea who it was, and if caught faces, just from our house 3 charges of feloney B&E and 1 tresspassing charge.
