Community Corner

Up Close and Personal with Eustacia Cutler, Mother of Temple Grandin and Author of A Thorn In My Pocket

The Autism Alliance of MetroWest, a program of Advocates, is thrilled to welcome Eustacia Cutler for an intimate conversation!

Learn about Cutler's journey raising a daughter with autism in the conservative 1950s when children with autism were routinely institutionalized and her fight to keep her daughter in the mainstream of community, family, and school life. A talented playwright, author, and actress--as well as an autism activist and researcher--Cutler is a graduate of Harvard University and has successfully raised four children. Cutler will answer your questions and sign books following her talk.
