The production features 20 performers from the Boston and MetroWest regions, including Marlborough residents Shannon Hinkley singing “If My Friends Could See Me Now” from Sweet Charity, Jonathan McCauley singing “Maria” from West Side Story, and Nick McKinnon performing “Anything You Can Do” from Annie Get Your Gun (a duet with Lowell resident Stacy Kadesch). All three also perform alongside the ensemble in all dance numbers.

Shannon Hinkley has participated in theater for almost 20 years, and of SPECTACULAR SPECTACULAR!!! she says “I am so proud to be a member of this cast. The show has a few surprises in store for the audience and I can't wait for people to be able to see this. The songs chosen highlight the strengths of each individual performer and highlight the casts uniformity and talents. It's a can't miss!” When not performing, Shannon works full-time as a client service Relationship Advisor for Silicon Valley Bank out of Newton, MA.

Jonathan McCauley is performing for the sixth time with Moonstruck Theater Company, after spending the last four seasons playing Mr Mushnik in Little Shop of Horrors, Ernst Ludwig in Cabaret, Glen Guglia in The Wedding Singer, Mr. Myers in Fame, and Mr. McQueen in Urinetown: The Musical. “SPECTACULAR SPECTACULAR!!! has something for everyone,” says McCauley, “You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll shriek, and you’ll have a heck of a good time.” Originally from Ohio, Jon is also a trained opera singer.

Nick McKinnon, a transplant to the Bay State from Maine, moved to Massachusetts to attend Worcester Polytechnic Institute. SPECTACULAR SPECTACULAR!!! marks his return to Moonstruck Theater Company, having participated in their production of Urinetown: The Musical three years ago and most recently in Little Shop of Horrors last fall. A theater orchestra musician since the age of 12, McKinnon was very familiar with many of the songs before auditioning. “This show focuses on some of the top songs from many great productions.  Everyone, even those less familiar with theater, will recognize and enjoy their favorites throughout the event!” Off-stage, Nick is an electrical engineer that frequently travels around the world for his company.  Free-time adventures consist of rock climbing and going on as many destination vacations as possible with friends.

The show is directed by Matthew Sherman and music directed by Samantha Prindiville. The production will be presented at Amazing Things Art Center, Framingham, MA.

Tickets are $25 for general admission, $24 for senior citizens and students, $22 for Amazing Things Members, and $13 for children 12 and under.
