Free, hands-on waterside workshops for children ages 6-10
Tuesdays, July 9th – August 13th from 10 am - noonLake Cochituate State Park, 25 Commonwealth Road, Natick
The series of six free outdoor workshops offers fun and thought-provoking activities for children ages 6-10. Through field-work, hands-on activities and lively group discussions, the children are encouraged to explore the fascinating world of water and learn new ways of protecting it for all the creatures that depend it. The topics include:
July 9 Your Watershed and the Water Cycle
July 16 Water Plants and Animals
July 23 Water Bugs
July 30 Water Testing and Conservation:
Aug 6 Water Wise Photography
Aug 13 Water Wise Wizards

Children should be dressed for walking in shallow water.
Parents are requested to stay throughout the workshops and are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
