The return of The Jon Butcher Axis at Worcester’s Hanover Theatre

Hanover Theatre in Worcester, MA: April 26 at 7:30 p.m.


 


Jon Butcher emerged from the legendary Boston music scene in 1983 with the PolyGram Records release of their debut and self-titled album, Jon Butcher Axis. This record produced such hits as "Ocean in Motion," "New Man" and "Life Takes A Life."

The power trio line-up with original bass player Chris Martin, plus John Muzzy on drums, will rock The Hanover Theatre to support the first Jon Butcher Axis studio album since "Stare At the Sun."  The critically acclaimed "Wishes," released in 1987 also featured hit singles and MTV videos of "Goodbye Saving Grace" and "Holy War."

Special guests for this concert will be New England’s own The Fools, along with Worcester's own August featuring Jimmy D’Angelo, formerly of the bands The Joneses and Mad Angel.


 


Tickets are available at $26, $36 and $46 with limited VIP seats available for $79. VIP package includes a ticket in the first four rows, backstage access, meet & greet with band, autographed CD and T-shirt and after party. 10% discount available for members, groups of 10 or more, corporate partners, kids, students and WOO Card holders.
