Metrowest Princess Boutique

The Metrowest Princess Boutique is a project sponsored by the GFWC Marlborough Junior Woman’s Club.  The goal is to help qualified girls get to the prom by easing the financial burden for them and their family.  All items, dresses, shoes, make-up and accessories are free.  The students will have the help of a personal shopper; make-up artists and seamstresses are available to make the whole outfit perfect for their prom or senior reception!

The Metrowest Princess Boutique serves girls in and around the Marlborough, MA area, including Worcester.  We work with area high school guidance counselors to pre-qualify girls to come shop in our boutique.

The  Metrowest Princess Boutique will be held on Saturday, March 2nd, 9am – 4pm at Assabet Valley Regional Vocational High School, 215 Fitchburg St, Marlborough, MA 01752

100+ volunteers are needed for this important community activity, as we serve over 250 girls each year. We are in need of volunteers prior to the event to organize donations and volunteers. The week of the Princess Boutique, helpers are needed to load the truck with the dresses on the evening of Thursday 2/28, set up for the event on the afternoon and evening of Friday 3/1, assist during the event, and help pack up the gowns at the end of the event, and many more tasks. We welcome donations of food for the volunteers, dress hangers, dresses, shoes, new make-up, accessories, gift certificates for dry cleaning or hair styling, and other relevant gifts.  Please consider volunteering a few hours for this worthy cause. For more information, or to sign up to volunteer, visit www. mwprincessboutique.com.
