The Post Road Art Center is calling all area artists to participate in “It’s in the Bag II”. Artists will be challenged to create a work of art which includes only those items provided in the bag. A $30 purchase includes a bag of undisclosed art supplies as well as the show fee. Bags may be purchased now; finished pieces may be dropped off January 24-31. Each participant may submit one piece for the show, and cash prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th as determined by viewers’ voting. The Opening Reception will be February 7th, from 5:30-8:00pm. This will be a wonderful opportunity to appreciate the creativity and resourcefulness of our local artists. All works will be on view and for sale in our gallery through February 27th.
