Ward Park: Revolution and National Champions

From the American Revolution to practice space for national champions; the land that makes up Ward Park has served many purposes through the years.

The land that currently makes up Ward Park has served many uses over the years and they are all detailed in a presentation available on the Marlborough Historical Society's website.

In a presentation given in 2011 by Paul Brodeur, a Marlborough Historical Society Trustee and lifelong resident of the Ward Park neighborhood, the history of the park is given in detail. The history of the park's namesake William Ward and his great grandson Artemas Ward are also addressed in the presentation.

The entire presentation may be viewed here.
