5 Things You Need to Know Today: April 24

We have a link to all of our Lake Williams fire coverage, and the library will be hosting its semi-annual book sale this weekend.

1. In case you missed any or all of our fire coverage on Monday, you can catch up on this landing page. We'll continue to add stories about the cleanup and efforts to aid residents as we get the information. 

2. The Arts Alliance will host a concert at the at 6:30 p.m., Monday, April 30. The Focus on the Arts Spring Concert features music by three groups affiliated with the Arts Alliance, and several Marlborough residents: Laurel Douglas, Gabriel Ingelido, Cayman Pacific and Asha Seemungal. There is a suggested $5 donation at the door. 

3. WMCT here in Marlborough produced several interesting and informative videos during the fire on Monday. Take a look at their Youtube page to see the clips

4. When , one of his early goals was to initiate comprehensive customer service training for City Hall employees, said a release. That task was recently completed and just over 100 employees attended the 90 minute training seminars which were held over several weeks earlier this spring. The training program was run by the Massachusetts Interlocal Insurance Agency at zero cost to the local taxpayers. 

5. The semi-annual book sale will get underway from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday, April 28, in the Bigelow Auditorium.
