5 Things: Senior Center and Big Business in the Works

1. The Urban Affairs Committee will be meeting tonight to discuss big business in Marlborough. They will be discussing the details of development involved with the Forest Park mixed use development.

2. The Senior Center Advisory Committee will be discussing the next steps towards putting a new senior center at Ward Park.

3. That committee will also be discussing trips to Northborough and Franklin to review their senior centers. These field trips will allow the committee to review what was constructed with those new senior centers and talk to staff about what is working and what could be improved.

4. The Personnel Committee will be discussing appointments by Mayor Arthur Vigeant which include the Board of Health and the Council on Aging.

5. According to the Marlborough Historic Commission's agenda, the Vin Bin could get an awning. As a historic building, certain changes need to go through the commission.
