5 Things: Marijuana Hearing and Adoption
From a medical marijuana hearing tonight to an art show promoting adoption; we have what you need to know today.
1. The city will be hosting a public hearing on a moratorium on medical marijuana dispensaries at the City Council meeting tonight at 8 p.m. The moratorium would push out dispensaries in the city to June of 2014.
2. The Solomon Pond Mall is hosting the Heart Gallery Photography Exhibit that features 24 portraits of youth in state foster care in need of adoption. Photographers have donated their time and talent to create the portraits of some of the children and teens, ages 3-16, who are awaiting adoption.
3. The claims for mailboxes damaged, likely during winter plowing, continue to roll in to the city and five more are being brought to the city council tonight.
