5 Things: City Councilor Wants Gas

A city councilor wants gas while a church steeple gets a new coat of paint.

1. "I'd love to have gas," said City Councilor Edward Clancy during the council meeting Monday. He was speaking about natural gas and the unwillingness of the utilities to provide it.

2. Councilor Joseph Delano also spoke on the need for utility companies to give options to the residents of Marlborough. He said the utilities are refusing to put in natural gas in areas of the city, saying that it is not profitable.
