As a certified MA teacher, I have never had the luxury of being a hyper-partisan. Our mission is to always work with kids, staff and parents all of backgrounds and points of view. Also, as a Project Manager at MassDOT, I have effectively worked with Republican (Cellucci) and Democratic (Patrick) Administrations.

This approach is exactly what is needed on Beacon Hill: Balance, more debate and many more roll call votes.

That is why I was so pleased to be endorsed earlier this year by Westborough's Fmr. State Rep. and my colleague Karyn Polito, who talked about my independence: http://www.redmassgroup.com/diary/14518/karyn-polito-cavaretta-will-be-strong-advocate

Like Karyn or a Scott Brown, I am an independent thinker and fiscal conservative who can stand on principle, but reach across the aisle to get things done. I have been fortunate in this State Senate campaign to be able highlight many policy differences with my opponent.
