I am proposing the following Cavaretta-Eldridge Debate times: September 13th, September 24th, October 9th, October 17th, October 21st, October 24th and October 30th. www.DeanCavaretta.com

It is encouraging to read that my State Senate opponent confirmed in a recent news story, his desire to debate six times, and this week, I’m eager to take him up on his offer:

Therefore, I am proposing the following Cavaretta-Eldridge State Senate debate times: September 13th, September 24th, October 9th, October 17th, October 21st, October 24th and October 30th.

My campaign is hopeful that multiple local media outlets, community groups and other concerned citizens will host, sponsor or contribute to making these events happen.

Healthy debate is at the heart of good government, and the voters of Middlesex & Worcester deserve to know how the candidates compare and contrast on their positions, and I am pleased to advance our democratic process by debating and discussing these important issues.

My campaign has enlisted the assistance of my friend and Malden City Councilor, David D’Arcangelo, (who is known for both conducting and competing in debates that have a very high level of integrity).

D’Arcangelo will be reaching out, on my behalf, to the Eldridge campaign. We will also be reaching out to community groups in MARLBOROUGH and local media outlets to work on these specific times, locations and formats for the proposed debates.
