Find full and half day camp programs in Marlborough, Northborough, and Southborough in this week's Frugal Family.

Marlborough families are talking about summer camp. If your kids wish to attend a fun camp with a variety of activities, either half or full day, take a look at the recreation department camps in Marlborough, Northborough, and Southborough.   The programs are affordable camp options with great activities and counselors.  Northborough and Southborough don’t charge fees for out-of-town campers, so that is a plus. Some also have openings for April spring vacation programs. Below are the camp programs, the hours covered, and the fees for the camps.

1. Marlborough: Marlborough Recreation has a great summer camp program called Marlborough’s Project Summer Adventure (PSA). Camp starts the week of June 25. Kids ages six through 13 can enjoy day trips to area destinations, such as local beaches, state parks, zoos, amusement parks, and even the Paw Sox. The price for most weeks is $160. The hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The registration date for PSA is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 7 at Jericho Lodge, 496 Brigham St. Click here for a form and schedule that you should print and bring to registration. There is also a program for kids ages six through 13 during April vacation called Project Spring Adventure.
