Raytheon to Cut 200 Jobs

A reorganization at the defense company would see job cuts.

Raytheon will be reorganizing and cutting 200 jobs, according to an announcement by the company on Monday.

The cuts will be part of a consolidation effort, according to the company. The Waltham based company, which has a location in Marlborough and 68,000 employees internationally, declined to say what jobs would be included in the cuts. The consolidation will save the company $85 million annually.

The company announced in January that its fourth quarter income dropped by 14 percent, according to the Telegram and Gazette.
