Q&A: The Dirtiest Car and How it Was Cleaned

Patch asked Clean and Green Car Wash owner Kevin Labadini what makes his business tick in anticipation of the upcoming Small Business Saturday following Thanksgiving. Right now, if you "Like" on them on Facebook you will receive a one time $4 discount off any car wash.

Patch: Why did you want to open a car wash?

Labadini: I have always had a passion for cars and I though what a great way to
incorporate what I love into a business.

Patch: Tell us about the name. Why are you guys "green"?

Labadini: Green means eco-friendly, keeping the earth and the environment in mind. It's our theme, to clean cars with earth friendly chemicals, we recycle our
water with a state of the art water raclaim system, we even have recycle bins for customers to seperate their trash out at our vacuums.

Patch: What else makes your business unique?

Labadini: We offer the most super comfortable customer lounge/waiting area of
any car wash around.

Patch: What is the most common question you get asked about the business?

Labadini: "Is Clean & Green Car Wash and Detail Center a franchise?" No, we are a family owned and operated business.

Patch: If you could change one thing about the business what would you
change?

Labadini: It would have been great to have a larger facility to be able to provide
a wider range of services to our customers.

Patch: What's your favorite thing about owning a car wash?

Labadini: It is a great feeling to put a smile on people's faces by washing or detailing their cars.

Patch: What is the dirtiest car you’ve ever seen?  

Labadini: A gentleman came in with his dad's old buick, parked under a tree for many years. I wish we had taken photos, it took a lot of work but when it was done, it was amazing that the finish came back so shiny and bright

Patch: How often should someone wash their car?  

Labadini: In the northeast we recommend once a week, but during the winter months maybe more often then that, salt eats cars and it doesnt take long for the finish to begin to show permanent damage.

Patch: How will you observe Small Business Saturday?

Labadini: Saturday we will be offering $5 off any 30 Minute While-u-Wait Express Detail Service. Also, since it is the official kick off to the holiday shopping season, we will be offering a Free Ultimate Car Wash to anyone who buys a Gift Card for $50 or more. That's a $16 value.
