Piccadilly Pub Shuts its Doors Indefinitely

Piccadilly Pub's parent company has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

The Marlborough location of at 587 Bolton St. is closed. A memo is posted on the front door, dated Feb. 6, and reads in part, “Piccadilly Pub Restaurants have temporarily closed. Currently, a date has not been set for a re-opening.”

Restaurant chain owner Elephant & Castle filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in June.

Management thanked customers for their patronage of the restaurant in the message posted, adding that they hope to serve the public again sometime soon. (see photo)
