Marlborough Savings Names Business Development Head

James Cronin will oversee outreach efforts to small businesses at the bank.

(MSB) has announced the new role of James F. Cronin as Business Development Officer.

Cronin is responsible for developing relationships with small businesses that would benefit from accessible and responsive banking professionals.

MSB is a participant in the Massachusetts Banking Partners Small Business Loan Program and Cronin is spearheading the outreach to local small business owners. The Massachusetts Banking Partners Small Business Loan Program – known as Banking Partners – was developed to foster the creation of jobs by offering loans for expansion, new construction, and/or equipment for small business.

A graduate of Merrimack College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, Cronin is involved in area Chambers of Commerce and active in Marlborough Youth Sports. A native of Lynn, Jim now resides in Marlborough with his wife Diane and sons, Alex and Adam.
