Marlborough Medical Co.'s Profits Dropped 97 Percent

Last year, the company's profits went up. This quarter, they dropped drastically.

Boston Scientific Corp., which is based in Marlborough, reported that its second-quarter earnings dipped by 97 percent, reported the Modesto Bee. 

The medical device maker was affected by a lawsuit as well as other expenses, and its profit dropped to $4 million from $130 million. 

During the same quarter last year, the company's revenue rose by 3.5 percent, said the Modesto Bee.
