The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for registration and refreshments, and the evening’s program will begin at 6 p.m. in the school’s auditorium with introductions, explanations and a brief presentation. Each group will be guided and assisted by members of the consultant team that will be assigned to each group.
The Mapping Game will use a Map of the City as the game board with cards describing different types of land uses, developments, improvements, or changes that could occur within the com munity as the game pieces. The assignment for each breakout group will be to discuss and design their future vision of the City on the game board using the game pieces.

Summaries of each group’s results will be presented to all attendees at the final session of the evening, said the release. The breakout groups will also be asked to list the key goals and objectives that frame their development plan, the programs, and the actions that they believe are necessary to realize their future vision of the City. These goals, objectives, programs and actions will also be included in the summaries of each group’s results and presented at the final session.
