As we look through the endless messages on Craigslist, we ponder (just as we do by scrolling through Facebook), what is so difficult about understanding the differences between "to" and "too," "you're" and "your" and "woman" and "women?"
As long as spelling's not your thing, perhaps you'd be interested
This Northborough guy saw you working at the Wendy's in Marlborough, and was "to" shy to say anything to you, a "very cute petiet blonde womem." We're hoping a petiet womem is similar to a petite woman, but we cannot be sure. Either way, he's hoping you'll message him if you see this.
This turkey is not for human consumption, but it's free and already defrosted for you
A person in Framingham has a whole turkey, still wrapped in plastic, that he or she is offering to give away. It was in a freezer that had a mind of its own, shutting down and starting to defrost its contents "between Thanksgiving and now." The poster writes, "If you have dogs that will eat this, send me an email. First that can pick up tonight, will get it. Next time slot I have avail would be thursday." We're no biology majors here, but we're guessing that if it's not good for you, it might not be good for your dog, either.
The family wanted eggnog, not eggnog flavored tea!
Arghhh! Well, their messup is your gain. You've got yourself 20 free eggnog flavored Bigelow brand teabags if you want to pick them up in Shrewsbury. The box is opened, but none of the teabags were used. Again, because that's not what the family wanted. It is hoped it did not ruin the holiday for them.
Nevermind those silly, little stuffed animals
This is the real thing, the big ones. This person in Grafton is ready to part with—for free—a zoo full of lifesized stuffed animals, including a dog, giraffe and a panda.
Did you chat recently, in Framingham? This could be you!
Here are the only specifics this poster from Framingham wishes to share at this time: you and he had some small talk. If you can name the place, he'd like to chat some more. We can't imagine a connection not occuring on this one.
Perhaps not the biggest Steinbeck—or Springsteen—fan
Nonetheless, this child of the '60s and resident of Framingham is "Searching for the Ghost of Tom Jode." He wants to play some Peter, Paul and Mary, Joan Baez, Springsteen and other folksy stuff. "This ad is for a musician not looking for anything but.. singing with someone who can play the guitar, violin ,piano whatever. ,,,, I do not care if we sing in a pub or a park . Not lookin for big time name or fame..." For anyone who is interested (this poster, maybe?), here's a link to a recording of "The Ghost of Tom Joad" by Bruce Springsteen.
Missing cat in Natick
