Doctors Express Urgent Care to Expand into Marlborough

Doctors Express announced last week it will break ground on a nearly 4,000-square-foot new urgent care facility in Marlborough, expanding access to quality health care for residents in the Metro West region.  

The Marlborough clinic, set to open before the end of the year, is the twelfth Doctors Express location in the state.  As one of the largest urgent care organizations in the United States, Doctors Express is staffed by board certified physicians and has earned exceptionally high patient satisfaction by providing quality care in a convenient, lower-cost setting.

Located on Route 20 at 42 Boston Post Road West, Doctors Express will offer urgent care seven days a week.  No appointments are necessary and the average door-to-door wait and treatment time is under one hour.  Services such as an X-Rays, sutures, and lab work will be available for non-critical conditions like strep throat, sprains, strains and the flu.  Doctors Express Marlborough will accept all major insurance plans including Medicare and certain MassHealth plans.

This will be the second Doctors Express Metro West location to open in the past two years.  Doctors Express Marlborough will provide nine private exam rooms and is expected to employ more than 20 doctors and staff.  The provider also has a location in Natick and has cared for more than 20,000 patients in the Metro West region.
