5 Things You Need To Know Today: March 29

Here is a list of things going on in and around Marlborough today that you should know about.

1. Looks like we are in for a day that will look much like Monday did, with clear skies and high temps getting into the mid-40s, so says the National Weather Service

2. St. John's High School in Shrewsbury just named their honor roll students for the second quarter, and several are from Marlborough. Congratulations to you all from Patch. Adithyan Panchamoorthy, Thomas Porter, Matthew Williams made the Headmaster's List; the First Honors students from Marlborough are Joseph Atchue, Benjamin Burger, Thomas Calderini, Colin Campbell, Matthew Dehner, Benjamin Gowaski, Derek McMaster, Ethan Matchinski; and second honors went to Philip Cognetta, James Culhane, Edward Leonard, Robert Pino, Michael Prewitt, Matteo Puzella. 

3. The Golf Committee for the Marlborough Chamber of Commerce is in need of participants.The first meeting will be held this morning at 9:15 a.m. in the Chamber Conference Room. Call Cathy at 508-485-7746 or email her at cmogave@marlboroughchamber.org to sign up to attend. All golfers and golf wannabes are invited to attend these planning sessions for the 37th annual PGO to be held May 24 at the Marlborough Country Club.

4.There is some Baby Time at the today. Come on down at 10 a.m. for stories and bouncing rhymes for babies ages birth through 18 months. Registration is required, and space is limited to 16 children and their caregivers. Register by calling the Children's Room or by stopping by.

5. The Dental Associates of Marlborough announced yesterday that it will host its Second Annual Free Dental Clinic for children in Marlborough who have no health insurance/coverage. Cleanings, exams and dental education will be offered at this May 21 event between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Call 508-485-1800 for schedule an appointment.
