5 Things You Need To Know Today: April 7

Here is a list of things going on in and around Marlborough today.

1. As far as the weather goes, it looks like we are in store for more of the same today. That means mostly sunny skies, and temps attempting to get into the 50s. 

2. Just in: "How can you get a dog to help feed, shelter, and care for homeless cats? Easy: just take him for a walk in the park. Area residents — with or without dogs — are invited to take part in MetroWest Humane Society’s (MWHS) annual Walk for Animals/A Howlin’ Good Time on Saturday, May 21, in the Split Rock Group Area of Hopkinton State Park from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine. The three-mile paved route is handicapped accessible. In addition to the walk, there will be contests, free refreshments, interactive dog games, face painting, and even animal massage therapy.

3. Shaq visited with some MetroWest Boy Scouts earlier this week. See the story at , and look for our feature on a Marlborough scout who participated in the event.

4. The Marlborough Chamber of Commerce will host Supreme Judicial Court Justice Judith Cowin tomorrow in an event at . This is Women's Business Council that begins at 11:45 a.m. and costs $25. Call the Chamber to register.
