UPDATED: Can You Solve the Million Dollar Murder Mystery? [VIDEO]

Marlborough residents are performing in the Framingham Community Theatre trio of shows this weekend.

Framingham Community Theatre is staging performances this weekend of its original dinner theatre - Million Dollar Murder.  

The show features an interesting mix of suspects. There is the wife of the deceased Framingham millionaire Francesca Marco-Bux played by L.J. Carroll of Framingham and her brother Guiseppe Marco, played by Medfield's Nate LaMontagne.

Then, there is the director of the Framingham Unity Fund Anita Fortune played by Holliston's Cindy Bell, Mr. Bux personal secretary Hissy Fitts, portrayed by Framingham's Deborah DuBourdieu and Leigh Galese, Esquire, Mr. Bux attorney played by Linda Frank.

Other suspects include Mr. Bux business partner Col. Slanders played by Framingham's Doug Freeman and his wife Chickie Lee Slanders, portrayed by Jennifer Toth of Framingham. The final suspect is Trixie S. Court a former Wellesley madam who is now opening a school in Framingham, played by Marlborough's Ginny Carpenter.

Trying to solve the murder are Framingham Police Sgt. Lou Tennant (Betsy Fishman) and Det. Dan Forth (Tibor Toth), both Framingham residents.

The production is directed by Sheron Thorp Doucette.

There are guest appearances by State Rep. Chris Walsh, Selectmen Chair
Charlie Sisitsky and Framingham Town Manager Bob Halpin. (Framingham Public Library Director Mark Contois made a guest appearance Thursday night. (Editor's Note: I will make a guest appearance tonight.)

Shows are tonight and tomorrow night at 7. Tickets are still available but must be ordered by noon today for tonight's performance, by noon for Saturday evening's show. Call 508-875-5554 to order tickets.

Tickets are $42 and $40 Tonight and Saturday.

There are lots of Framingham and MetroWest reference in the production, but it is not appropriate for the little ones. There are several references that make the original production worthy of a PG-13 rating.

Food is provided by Bella Costa Ristorante. Besides solving the crime, guests can also win prizes.
