Three Rivers Chorus concert

Three Rivers Chorus presents its fall concert “’It Is At Moments’” on Saturday, December 3, 8:00p.m., at Sudbury United Methodist Church, 251 Old Sudbury Road, Sudbury, MA.  Founded in 2010 and inspired by the Sudbury, Assabet, and Concord Rivers, the auditioned, mixed voice chorus champions world class singing to unite and strengthen diverse local communities.  Artistic Director Ellen Oak always puts together an interesting program, with unexpected juxtapositions of music from various traditions.  The upcoming concert features songs from the jungles and the music conservatories Brazil; the jazzy compositions of Greg Jasperse; and works by Bach, Cage, Kodaly, Pevernage and Raminsh.  The Gospel Choir of Sudbury United Methodist Church will be honored guest artists for the performance.  A reception with refreshments and a silent auction will immediately follow the concert.  Tickets are $15 in advance/$20 at the door ($10 in advance/$15 at the door for seniors and students);  they can be purchased online at www.threeriverschorus.org and picked up at the door.  For more information, email  info@threeriverschorus.org, or call 978-897-0495.
