Ghost Light Players Auditions for A Midsummer Night's Dream
Location: Fellowship Hall, First Church of Marlborough, 37 High Street, Marlborough, MA.
Audition Dates & Times: June 19th and June 21st from 7 PM to 10 PM.
Callbacks: Sunday, June 24th. Times TBA.

Performances: Saturdays, September 8 & 15
Please come prepared for cold readings and scene work. You may, if you prefer, prepare a short monologue from any of Shakespeare’s works instead of performing the cold reading, though you may be asked to participate in cold readings at callbacks.

Theseus – Duke of Athens
Hippolyta – Queen of Amazons, betrothed to Theseus
Egeus – father to Hermia
Hermia – maiden, daughter to Egeus, in love with Lysander
Lysander – young nobleman, in love with Hermia
Demetrius – young nobleman, in love with Hermia
Helena – maiden, in love with Demtrius
Oberon – King of the Fairies
Titania – Queen of the Fairies
Puck – servant to Oberon
Peaseblossom, Cobweb, Moth, Mustardseed – Fairies
Quince – carpenter, head of Players/ portrays “Prologue”
Snug – joiner/actor who portrays “Lion”
Bottom – weaver/actor who portrays “Pyramus” (must be a man)
Flute – bellows-mender/actor who portrays “Thisbe” (must be a man)
Snout – tinker/actor who portrays “Wall”
Starveling – tailor/actor who portrays “Moonshine”
Philostrate – Master of Revels to Theseus
Fairies – attendants to Oberon and Titania
Courtiers – attendants to Theseus & Hippolyta
CALLING CHILDREN! We are planning to cast younger actors as the Fairy Court. If your 8 – 14 year old child would like to audition to play a fairy, please contact us for additional information. Children’s auditions will be held on Sunday, June 24th at 2 PM.
