5 Things You Need To Know Today: May 23

Here is a list of things going on in and around Marlborough today.

1. Unfortunately, it looks like we are in store for another week of rain. Today should present a mix of showers and thunderstorms with a high of 63 degrees.

2. In case you found yourself wondering what the fuss was about on Maple St. yesterday, read the Marlborough Enterprise's report on a broken water main.

3. The B.L.T. Teen Book Group is meeting 7 to 8 p.m. in the Story Hour room. We will be discussing Quiver by Stephanie Spinner. Come and discuss this retelling of the Greek Myth of Atalanta, the young woman who dares the suitors her father chooses for her to a foot race where the losers will die, but the winner will win her hand in marriage. Snacks will be provided. Contact Necia Blundy at nblundy@cwmars.org or call 508-460-6994 to sign up.
