Six days a weeks Marlborough Patch will highlight an interesting story from the Marlborough Daily Enterprise published on that date 100 years ago.

Sept. 5, 1911: Weston Man Hit by Trolley: Robert Finn has Broken Ankle and Badly Bruised Body as Result of Accident

Robert Finn, 50 years old, and reported to be a resident of Weston, is at the Marlboro hospital suffering with a sprained right ankle and numerous abrasions of the body as a result of being struck by a car on the Boston and Worcester street railway Monday evening. The accident occurred near the Walker turnout and passengers say that only for the superlative skill of Motorman John Colleary, the man would have been killed.
